Prof. Tamar Hostovsky Brandes
Prof. Tamar Hostovsky Brandes is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Law Faculty at Ono Academic College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from Tel Aviv University (cum laude) and a master’s (LL.M) (cum laude) and doctorate (J.S.D) in law from Columbia University. Prof. Tamar’s research interests are public international law and constitutional law, and her research focuses on the relationship between the two, as well as the interface between law and political theory.
Prior to joining the Ono Academic College faculty, Prof. Tamar worked as a lawyer in the commercial department at New York’s Schulte, Roth & Zabel, LLP law firm and taught in the master’s degree program in Global Studies. In 2018, Tamar was hosted as a Short Term International Visiting Professor at Columbia University School of Law
